Wotc steam workshop does not download subscribed mods

I currently have poor internet for downloading games or anything large (i.e. around 150 KB/s maximum download rate). When I subscribed to a very large Skyrim mod via the Workshop, the mod never got downloaded. After an hour of playing Skyrim without it, waiting for Skyrim to sync and the works, it never started downloading.

Here's a possible fix: I subscribed to about 600 workshop items and I had the same issue. So, I changed my download region and restarted Steam and noticed that Steam was downloading something in the background, thats when I realized that it was my workshop content. I started up my game again and now everything is working fine. The purpose of the Rogue Class Mod is to bring alternate playstyles to how the game is approached. The Rogue relies more on flanking the enemy for shorter range shots; therefore, relying less on RNG and more on combat strategy. This leads to very high risk, but highly calculated rewards. Balance will always be my number one priority for this mod.

I checked my A3Launcher and it appears newly subscribed mods or updated mods are not downloading. I have enough free space on my SSD. It started around the middle of Dec until now. For example the RKSL mod recently uploaded sits in the QUEUE waiting to be downloaded but it never does.

Whenever I try to download an Arma 3 mod on the workshop, it will (usually) download right away and download the whole mod at once (again, usually). After a around a week or so, the mod will show up in the launcher. The launcher will then either crash repeatedly until I restart my computer, or the mod will load without issue. After "unsubscribing" (mods are installed by "subscribing") from a Steam Workshop item there are a dozen respective files all around the game installation location and the mod is still active in the game. Is unsubscribing supposed to delete the mod files or do I have to manage local Workshop content manually? There are two ways to install mods: you can either subscribe to mods via the Steam Workshop (this installs the mods automatically), or you can download mods from other sources and install them manually. So I have been adding more mods to my game since I got back into playing, using the steam workshop. The problem is my game isn't downloading the mods I subscribe to through steam. I check the data files every time and the new mods are not showing up. Finding and installing your favorite mods is easier than ever before. Finding Subscribed Mods (steam workshop) User Info: J Nice. J Nice 7 years ago #1. I have looked all over the workshop to see what mods I've subscribed to but I cant seem to find it. Anyone know where to look? This workshop is starting to seem like more of a hassle than its worth.

I subscribe to mods and they appear in the launcer as normal, but they do not download/update. I can download mods from other sources, but not directly from your steam launcher. I have tried verifying the game cache and making sure all mods are gone from the game, but still they won't download/update even given hours. Just thought I would share some advice for an annoying bug with Skyrim and the Steam Workshop not working as intended, as I think it's a common problem but I can not for the life of me find people talking about it. I had subscribed to a good 40+ mods in the workshop but whenever I would start the game the mods would never install. And so far, the most promising result I had was using "workshop_download_item 107410 453577279" where 107410 is the AppID for Arma 3 on steam and 453577279 is the workshop content ID of some random arma 3 mod/addon. (the content ID is the number at the end of the workshop mod URL). Extract the zip file into your SteamApps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\Mods folder. If you have done it correctly, there should now be a folder inside the Mods folder called "MoreMapsPack". When you load the XCOM 2 launcher, select "More Maps Pack" in your list of mods to make sure it is enabled in the launcher. Then play! Current mod content:

If that's a problem, as it has been for a number of people on these forums already, then you can download and manage them manually instead. There's a Steam Workshop Downloader (google that and it'll be the first result), not sure if it works with Civ 6's workshop, but if it does then that's an easy way to do it.

I just felt like playing civ5 again, and hit the same issue: no mods present. According to Steam Workshop I subscribed to a crapload of mods, according to Civ5 there are no mods installed. Trying to remove mod and cache files a mentioned in this thread did not help either. Civ 5 on Mac does not have mod support, which Steam does not acknowledge anywhere. Last I checked, I could subscribe to mods, and Steam would actually say it's downloading them, but there is no dialog for enabling mods in-game, and last I checked, there is not even a way to hack in partial mod support anymore, as there was early on. Was some update after that steam workshop went into functional state. Even I was able to download the info addict mod, the lines on diplomacy screen are not visible.
